There are more places to publish online than ever before.
But I realized most of these places weren't really fit for me. Whether it was deceptive tactics to get you to create an account to view an article, or unfriendly staff that destroyed any type of valid criticism directed towards their beliefs. I didn't feel comfortable writing in any of these platforms.
And I wasn't the only one.
Spread throughout the internet, many voiced similar opinions and discontent with writing on the internet. Reading them made me realize that there was a need for a sustainable, transparent place that gave people the liberty to write without fear of getting their content removed unfairly, as well as a place with less noise and better opportunities to grow.
I wanted to build a place where original, smart ideas were rewarded.
Right now, this is an experiment.
There aren't thousands of writers here, nor a massive audience. Our direction is currently also uncertain, and we need your help guiding us.
